Reid and Ashley, were such a joy to work with as they unlocked the new doors of this home. And now, what a treat for me to see how they have renovated and transformed this space to fit their family and their style so perfectly! I am blown away by the way they have brought their vision to life, seeing the potential within these four walls since the very first time they laid eyes on it.
Reid and Ashley were very hands-on throughout the renovation process, from removing wallpaper to installing shiplap and countless things in between! Dave Zeller’s Construction Team oversaw the major projects, including painting the inside and outside of the home, installing flooring throughout the house, and heading up the master bathroom renovation.
BEFORE

Reid and Ashley selected “Alabaster” as the paint color for their walls and “Accessible Beige” for the trim throughout the main living areas of their home. This gave a great foundation for the aesthetic of their space and really brought new life into their home that was once covered in wallpaper. All the light fixtures on the main floor were replaced and sourced from Wayfair. Three wooden beams were removed from the living room space to grant an even more open feel. All the stairs, railing, and posts were replaced with custom designs, and all the wood was stripped and stained to match the new flooring – a true transformation!
The master bathroom got a total makeover, complete with a new walk-in shower installation. Their gorgeous dual vanity and new light fixtures and sconces were all sourced from Wayfair. Reid and Ashley selected “Seasonal” as the paint color for their walls, and the final look is breathtaking.
AFTER

Linda Martin from Carpet Weavers was Reid and Ashley’s contact for all of their flooring needs for this renovation. This included new flooring in the dining room, kitchen, back living room, master bathroom and master bedroom. They chose “Lions Flooring” in “Homewood Waltz.”
A word from Ashley regarding their remodel experience: “I loved picking the materials and bringing our vision to life. We had so many ideas and to watch things come together was the best part! Sometimes I still can’t believe that I get to live in this beautiful home! We truly enjoyed the renovation process and are continuing to add our personal touch as we renovate other rooms around the house.”
These two are not done yet! Their current renovation projects are the upstairs office and the half bathroom on the main floor. I am sure the final results will be just as impressive as the rest of their home. Thank you for allowing me to play a role in your story as you unlocked these new doors and made them your own! It has been my utmost privilege to work with you and the Sue Neihouser Team wishes you many happy years in this space.
