Coffee has grown to become a huge fad in America – literally blowing up all over the country in the last ten years. I distinctly remember when coffee shops started becoming popular, and I am honestly not complaining! Although I may not be a teenage girl posting photos of their coffee drinks, I too deeply appreciate coffee! It has been so fun for me to adventure out in our community and try all of the different coffee shops, and probably even more fun for me to watch each shop pop up, each brand develop, and each location take a special place in the community.
I have heard of Zion Coffee in Peoria for quite some time now, and last week I had the pleasure of checking it out myself. And friends, you must go. The coffee is fabulous, the atmosphere lovely, and the Zion brand so fun. Mike and Banu and the rest of the team have done such a great job with the location and building, and it is no surprise to me how a place like that took off so quickly.
I only allow myself one caffeinated cup of coffee a day, as too much can make me feel off-kilter, but Zion’s lavendar latte was splendid, and totally worth it. As a realtor, it’s places like this, places like Eli’s in Morton, places like The Blend in Washington, that make me excited for all of my clients that are moving to the area. It’s so important for our community to continue to build each other up, continue to improve our way of living, continue to create small business and support each other. It brings us together, it makes the community appealing to live in, and it makes “unlocking new doors” so much better when the “new doors” are fun to unlock.
Go get yourself a cup of coffee, friends. Happy Monday.
