I am thrilled to be sharing another client remodel today! This cozy home underwent a complete makeover – from the flooring to the ceiling fixtures. It is amazing what a little vision and a lot of hard work can do, and I always enjoy visiting my clients again and seeing their vision come to life.
To begin, the Kitchen cabinets got a fresh coat of paint, Gilles White, by Dave Zeller of Morton. A new backsplash was then installed by a friend of Dave’s, and Central Illinois Countertops installed a new countertop as well. My clients went with a Wilsonart hi-definition countertop, in the color Autumn Carnival, with a Caspian Edge. Finally, new GE appliances from Benson’s were installed to finish off the fresh look!
Moving on to the master bathroom, a new cabinet was installed from Builder’s Warehouse, which really helped add definition to the space. The existing cabinets in all three bathrooms were also given a fresh coat of paint by Dave Zeller – Urban Dream from Sherwin Williams. I love how the three bathrooms created a cohesive look throughout the home!
In the main living area, a wine rack was built in the existing alcove that looked into the dining room. An additional coat closet was also added in the foyer, which was a great use of this wide-open space. And moving outside, the back patio was torn out and replaced with a bigger concrete patio by Bill Weidman. It’s now an amazing space to enjoy and host in when warmer weather is here!
As for the rest of the home, all the ceilings were given a fresh coat of paint by Dave. My clients also painted all of the walls in a lovely gray color palette – Repose, Acier, Mindful Gray, and Dorian Gray, all sourced from Sherwin Williams. The hardware and light fixtures throughout the house were changed to brushed nickel and the ceiling fans were swapped out to include lighting as well. The existing tile floors were deep cleaned by Tri-County Cleaning Services, who did a phenomenal job, and new carpeting and vinyl tile were installed by Sutton Carpet Company in the great rooms and bedrooms.
I’m so impressed with my clients for all the hard work they put into their new home! What a delightful space to enjoy for years to come. A big thank you to my clients for inviting me into their newly remodeled home; it’s such a joy to see you settled in and loving life within the doors that we unlocked together.
